What it is

Ora Core is the entry Ora device. It runs the Ora experience on your desk and connects to the cloud AI provider you choose.

The models your agents call run in the cloud, through the provider account you connect. Ora Core runs the Ora experience itself, and keeps your files and keys on your desk.

Fit

Who this is for.

For a first dedicated AI computer. Everyday agents, documents and automations on one quiet machine.

Both machines run the same Ora experience. The question is how much memory and storage you want available while your agents work.

Design

Drawn as an object, not a box.

Ora's enclosure language is settled before it is tooled: a machined bevel that takes light on one edge, a fine vent array, one copper channel, and the wordmark cut into the front face.

Engraving detail · concept illustration
  • The wordmark is cut in

Ora is engraved into the front face rather than printed on it — a machined recess with a lit lower lip, so it catches light from one edge only.

  • One warm line

A single copper channel sits above the vent array. It is the only warm element on the enclosure, and it is the same copper used across this site.

  • Nothing sits proud

The status indicator is seated in a drilled pinhole, flush with the face. The panel split is a line, not a seam you can catch a fingernail on.

The images on this page are vector concept illustrations of the design language — not photographs or renders of final hardware. The finished materials, finish and dimensions are not confirmed, so they are not stated here.

After you reserve

What happens, in order.

Ora is at reservation stage. Here is the honest sequence, including the parts that are not decided.

  1. 01

    You reserve

A reservation records your intent to buy Ora Core. The $25 deposit is not charged yet and no card details are collected.

  2. 02

    Ora confirms the specification

The configuration on this page is a target. It becomes a certified specification once hardware compatibility and BOM approval are complete, and the marked rows are filled in then.

  3. 03

    Ora confirms timing

Shipping is planned to begin January 2027. That is a planned target rather than a guaranteed delivery date, and it may move.

  4. 04

    Delivery, then the balance

The remaining $474 is due on delivery. What ships in the box is settled with the final specification, so it is not listed yet.

The range

Two machines, one choice.

Neither machine is a cut-down version of the other. They run the same Ora experience and are assembled the same way — they differ in memory, storage and price.
