Draft template — pending legal review
This document is a working template prepared for the Ora website build. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, it is not yet a binding agreement, and it should not be relied on. Every company-specific detail is shown as a visible placeholder until Ora confirms it. Statements about how this website behaves today are accurate and can be verified in the source.
1. Scope
These terms are intended to govern your use of this website and the reservation flow it hosts, as operated by Legal entity, the company trading as Ora. Ora designs and assembles AI hardware in the United States.
The site exists to present two announced devices — Ora Core and Ora Mini — and to record interest in them. It is not an order system. Nothing on it forms a contract of sale.
The governing law, venue and dispute procedure are Governing law. No jurisdiction is named here rather than inventing one.
2. Reservations and the deposit
A reservation is a statement of interest in a device. It is not a purchase, not a pre-order with a delivery commitment, and not a binding contract on either side.
The planned reservation deposit depends on the device and is part of the device price, with the balance due on delivery. It is not yet charged.
- Ora Core: $25 deposit of the $499 price, $474 due on delivery.
- Ora Mini: $63 deposit of the $699 price, $636 due on delivery.
Final certified specifications, ship dates and availability are Specifications and availability.
When the deposit does become payable, the terms that will apply to it — whether it is refundable, how it is applied against a purchase, and how long it is held — are Deposit terms. Ora will publish those terms before taking any money.
You can see exactly what the flow does today at /reserve.
3. No payment is taken today
Ora has no payment processor connected. The reservation flow takes no payment, requests no card details and issues no receipt. No charge of any amount can occur through this site as it stands.
Reservation input is kept in your browser only. It is not transmitted to Ora and not stored on a server, so a completed flow records intent on your own device and nothing more. The confirmation screen says so plainly.
If any page, message or email appears to charge you for an Ora reservation today, it did not come from this site. Report it through the contact page.
4. Accuracy of site content
Ora is at the reservation stage, and the site is deliberately explicit about what is unconfirmed. Unverified values are rendered as visible placeholders rather than plausible-looking figures, and the device visual is an original illustration marked as a placeholder — it is not a photograph of a manufactured unit.
Nothing on this site should be read as a specification, performance claim, certification or warranty. Final published specifications will be Final specifications.
5. Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to breach it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, submit reservations you do not intend, or misrepresent yourself as Ora.
6. Intellectual property
The Ora name, the Ora wordmark, the product names Ora Core and Ora Mini, the site's design system, copy, illustrations and code are owned by Rights holder or used under licence. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy the site's design or assets into a competing product, use the Ora marks in a way that suggests endorsement, or remove ownership notices. The site uses no third-party brand logos, because Ora has no announced partnerships to display.
Licence terms for any open-source components are Open-source notices.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the applicable law allows. Ora does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that forward-looking statements about devices, dates or prices will hold.
Because no payment is taken and no reservation data leaves your browser, using the site today involves no financial transaction with Ora.
The liability cap, exclusions and any consumer rights that cannot be limited are Liability terms. These must be set by counsel; this draft does not attempt them.
8. Privacy
How information is handled is described in the privacy notice, which is also a draft pending review. In short: the site ships no third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and the reservation flow keeps its state in your browser.
9. Changes to these terms
This draft will be replaced by reviewed terms before Ora accepts any reservation data or any payment. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
10. Contact
Questions about this draft, or about what the site does today, can be emailed to support@oraxcore.com or sent through the contact page. A dedicated legal address has not been designated: Legal contact.
